One the great things about being an ex-president is, you can get pissed off and up in somebody’s face if you want to. 
Honestly, the U.S. had dealt with a specific form of terrorism for years – is it a stretch to claim anybody could have seen what was coming on 9/11?
While the politicians and pundits battle over who’s side is responsible, the reality is that both sides are. Clinton was in office for 8 years, during a period where the Unites States experienced numerous attacks against it, including the first World Trade Center bombing. The intelligence community had everything they needed to identify the 9/11 attacks. Bush had 8 months and largely ignored the threat. And since 9/11 a divided Congress has failed to implement the recommendations of the 9/11 commission. For the last 16 years the federal government, which has a very limited set of responsibilities as defined by the Constitution, has failed to accomplish the single most important item at the top of a very small list – to defend and protect the people of this great country of ours.
