Cool OSX App

I wonder how they handle the the iTunes integration? Is it all open format file manipulation or does iTunes on OSX have an extensibility API?

Check out: http://arstechnica.com/journals/apple.ars/2006/10/24/5721 the developers at Potion Factory talk about it. Also Tangerine is Tiger only and it cannot (at least not yet) analyze iTunes purchased tracks due to the DRM.
